Glenesk Day Services is based within the grounds at Garvald Glenesk, offering activities and outings Monday to Friday. It provides full and half day placements to residents of Garvald Glenesk as well as some attenders from the local area.
Activities range from craft work to garden work, and outings include bowling, local cafes, a drama class, and music and dance groups.
Glenesk Day Services is part of Columcille Centre, providing day services in Edinburgh. Attenders and staff from Columcille are invited to Glenesk Day Service and Garvald Glenesk in order to celebrate summer festivals such as May Day with music, dance and a barbeque in the garden 
| Garvald Glenesk Garden  Garvald Glenesk employ a seasonal biodynamic gardener who works with residents and volunteers to develop and maintain the garden and greenhouses, whilst also providing the cottages with salad and vegetables during the summer months. Produce includes potatoes, beans, greens, salad, strawberries, raspberries, apples, pears and plums. Tomatoes, squash, cucumber and pumpkin are grown more in the greenhouses. There are approximately two acres of sheltered grounds including woodland and lawns. A small group of dedicated volunteers work in the garden one day per week providing the gardener with valuable assistance.
Weekend Activities
Weekend activities at Garvald Glenesk can include outings to local places of interest and the coast, using fully insured staff cars, public transport or the organisation's own transport. Some residents have 1:1 support at the weekend for outings and accessing community facilities.
