Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage is home to six male residents, all with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. All six residents need staff support when outside the grounds, and a high level of support with personal care. Meals are prepared by staff, and shared by residents and staff together in the dining room.

Wall Cottage

Wall Cottage is currently home to four female and two male residents, all with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. Some of the residents at Wall Cottage access the local community activities and shops independently, whilst others need staff support when they are out and about.. Wall Cottage residents assist staff with food preparation and menu planning, and take an active role in making decisions about the running of the cottage and their own activities and routines.

Garvald Glenesk offers twenty four hour support to people with learning disabilities and or mental health issues. We have a deep commitment to support each person to get the individual support they need to enjoy life to the full.

Families and Friends

Families and friends of residents are made very welcome at Garvald Glenesk, and can be invited to regular visits, meals and celebrations as each resident wishes. There is a quiet room available in each cottage  which can be used by residents to welcome visitors.
